In the first home game of the season outfielder Matt Jacobson made his presence felt against San Francisco City College. In his first at bat of the season in front of the home crowd he drove in two runs with a triple to the right-centerfield gap. He also scored two runs on the day in just one of the many big games he had in the 2014 season that led to him being named Bay Valley Conference Player of the Year.
