Dressed as the Three blind mices Marie and Lisa Arcidiacono and a friend Aylssa DaRe are inline at registration getting their teeshirts for the 5K run.

The early morning Halloween 5k Run in downtown Pittsburg, Ca., started off with early registration and early start times for both the Children and Adult races.

The winner in the Children’s race was Eric Ma of Pittsburg.  The winner of the Adult group was Ian Weeks of Walnut Creek.

Officer Bolo the Pittsburg Police Mascot gave out lots of  hugs as well Halloween treat bags of goodies to the children.

LMC’s Professor Marie Arcidiacono, her sister Lisa, and a friend Alyssa DaRe were this year’s winners for the best costume contest. The three were dressed as the three blind mice. They ran in the 5k run and placed  44, 45 and 46 accordingly.

The LMC Honors Club members helped out the local Pittsburg Kiwanis club selling hot pancake breakfasts.

Local venders were spread out on the downtown mall, selling flowers, fruits, vegetables, and a variety of items to the public.
