Experience

Tamara Seward, Staff Writer

Hi, my name is Tamara but most people call me Tammy. I’m a divorced mother of three beautiful girls returning to school after eight years as a homemaker and am trying to get back into the workforce. I’m a Journalism major and hope to add other interests to my transcript as I can. I’ve been a staff writer for the Experience for two semesters now. A few tidbits most people don’t know about me. I completed a 300 hr Private & Professional Security Course, which was just short of the police academy and was taught by two former police officers. I also completed a correspondence course for Teacher Aide. I love learning and creating. I express my creativity in various ways like poetry, drawing, sketching, bead jewelry, and writing fiction stories. Writing actually helps me calm the voices in my head.
