With all the construction on campus at Los Medanos College, it can be a bit intimidating navigating the floors of the college complex without knowing where to locate specific services and centers that have been moved to a new area.
In some cases, previously known offices have been combined to make use of limited space available during construction and to make it easier for students to find the help they need.
Students can now access the services of the Employment Center, Financial Aid, and the Scholarship Office in PS20, the building just outside of the cafeteria near the lake.
The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) and Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) have been moved to CC257 (level 2, below the cafeteria), which is located next to the new Career Center location.
LMC’s new Information Center where students can ask questions and find helpful forms, as well as access WebAdvisor, is now located right outside of the cafeteria, along with Admissions and Records, the Cashier’s Office and Outreach Office. The Assessment Center is now located at CC256 and Counseling is located on Level 2 near the Career Center.
