Monument Impact presents “Nosotros,” a culmination of their Home Offers Me Escape and Safety, or H.O.M.E.S. program. The play details the experiences of the Wellington Gardens residents after having their homes ripped away from them. Their apartment complex was renovated to become luxury condominiums and the residents were left with no roof over their heads. The performance features Contra Costa Community College alumni and explores the true meaning of the words home and community. The play is being overseen by LMC Director Nick Garcia. Showtimes are March 12 and 13 at 2 p.m. at the Concord Historical Society located at 1928 Clayton Rd. Tickets are free, and if you are interested, please visit the event page.
