As the torch gets passed from one Editor-in-Chief to another, the aim for our audience at LMC remains
As journalists, it will always be our goal to share the voices of the students and staff with everyone on campus, and ensure that no one goes unheard — while also keeping you well-aware of campus news and events.
The Experience will continue to be student-run and will uphold a reputation of being truthful, well-informed, and efficient in our reporting. We want to ensure our newspaper is trusted and helpful for everyone on campus. We will provide you with new information, and even a chance to see yourself featured.
Nearly every week, we will work towards covering breaking news, sports, events on campus, and student opinions through columns. It will be provided through both printed newspapers and online articles.
We will also work to provide you with podcasts, magazine content, and special projects that students choose to participate in. That will connect with newer audiences, and help students express themselves through our platform.
My experience in journalism started my Sophomore year of high school, and has continued for the last 4 years. I will use all of my experience to form a strong standing ground for the Experience staff this semester, so they can create something students and staff look forward to every week.
I will continue to push for creativity and for my staff to feel as if they can explore their interests and express themselves freely. While also gaining new skills and making their interests into something that can be seen by everyone on campus.
During my time as Editor-in-Chief, I am working towards making sure students, faculty staff, and newspaper staff have a positive experience with the newspaper as a whole.
