LMC professor Judy Petite’s Art 40 and 41 students were assigned to create a self-portrait of them selves. The theme for this project was album covers of the 60’s and 70’s.  The class picked LMC student Ty Gocuan’s self portrait as the artist statement piece.  Colors used in Gocuan’s stencil painting were primary colors and stuck to four colors red, blue, yellow and black. The stencil paintings were painting on wood and are on display to see on level 3 of the college complex near the Reading and Writing center.
