UMOJA ‘s Easter Celebration brought together friends and families to feast on hot dogs and hot links, chips and soda on Friday April 18 in LMC’s outdoor quad. Children played tug of war and raced wheelbarrows. There was an egg hunt for plastic eggs filled with  candy, and colorful Easter baskets were given to the children who participated. There was also a pinata filled with candy, gum and other special treats. Brittany McCoy, the final youngster to hit it with the broom, freed the candy from the cupcake-shaped pinata.
