Hungry students pack the cafe everyday to fill their appetites. Found on the first floor in the Student Union, LMC’s cafe offers a range of options for any student searching for a meal at an inexpensive rate.
Student Natalie Helmer said he enjoys the variety as well as the price rates of the meals offered.
“I think it’s awesome,” said Helmer. “I love their variety of food and it’s really good prices. I feel like it helps a lot of people who may be struggling to afford healthier food at a good price.”
The cafe offers a variety of options to choose from including prepared hot meals like curry, fried rice, and burritos. There are also grill options such as a variety of breakfast sandwiches and plates in the morning, and various burgers and melts in the afternoon. And for the student on the go, snacks including granola bars, chips, cereal treats and an assortment of bakery goods are available.
Additionally, for students who may need extra caffeine to get through the day, there is coffee, tea, and energy drinks available for purchase.

Student Jeffrey Garcia enjoys the freshness and quality offered at the cafe.
“The fruit cups are pretty good,” said Garcia. “You could tell it’s the same day that they make it.”
The cafe also offers meals catered to students with religious backgrounds.
“I noticed that they have stuff that’s halal,” said student Soul Herrera. “So multicultural students can go in and don’t have to worry about their religious stuff getting in the way.”
According to grill cook Francis Brater, students enjoy the cafe’s options the most on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
If you are looking for an inexpensive and relatively healthy meal to enjoy while on campus, the cafe is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Breakfast at the grill is served from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and lunch options are from 11:30 a.m to 3 p.m.
