This online edition of the Los Medanos College Experience is updated regularly during the spring and fall semesters by students in the Journalism Program.

The print edition of the LMC Experience is published most Fridays during each semester and distributed on campus. Numerous digital PDFs of the print edition have also been posted on issuu (issuu.com/lmc_experience). The print edition was temporarily suspended during the pandemic following the March 13, 2020 isssue just before the campus closed. The print edition resumed March 11, 2022 when enough students and staff returned to campus to warrant its distribution. The online edition continued publication during the pandemic.

Both the print newspaper and the online news site serve as a laboratory project for journalism classes and as a First Amendment forum for campus communication. Opinions expressed in the Experience are solely those of the students and do not represent the views of the college.
